heroic games launcher cannot login to epic games mac #1511

Describe the bug

When I log in to epic games store and put the number SID it takes me back to the first page and does not register please help me Mac OS

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to 'login to epic games store'
  2. Click on 'Copy SID number'
  3. Scroll down to 'put the SID number and login'
  4. See error

Expected behavior

Heroic supports Catalina+ only. Will update the Readme with this info.

Is this because of legendary? I wonder if gogdl has the same limitation, maybe we have to do a quick check when the app boots to warn the user (maybe disable the login button showing that message too), people usually won't read the readme in github

Yes. Ideally we should check on heroic startup like you said.
