I was trying to install Death Stranding to C:\Program Files\Epic Games, so I can keep my games in the same folder that the Epic Games Launcher would install in by default. After it showed that it finished installing, I pressed the play button and nothing happened. I checked the install directory and Death Stranding was not there. I then tried running the Heroic Launcher as administrator and reinstalling the game and it worked. It would have been much more convenient to just ask for admin password when installing in a directory that requires it.
Feature description
If installing a game in a folder that requires admin privileges, there should be a UAC prompt asking to allow admin privileges after clicking on install.
Alternatives
I have tried running the launcher as administrator but that just seems more inconvenient since if I forget to run as admin when I'm installing a game, then I've just wasted a lot of time waiting for a game to "install". If I set the launcher to always run as administrator, it is less annoying but it is still inconvenient to accept the UAC prompt and it might be a security vulnerability.
Additional information
Thanks for all the work being put into this launcher. Using the Epic Games Launcher is atrocious and this is much better!
