Please add proxy settings

Problem description

If I directly access Epic and Google on my network, it may be very slow or there may be errors. So I am using system agents for usage. And it seems that Heroic doesn't use a system proxy? After I tried using the proxy to make him use the proxy, all access to the game was normal. If it's just a system proxy, he will keep reminding me that I can't get any information

I think this is a problem that needs to be solved urgently. I tried to add proxy-related environment variables to Flatseal, but opening the store in the launcher still ignores the proxy Settings.

I noticed in the new version it mentioned the addition of custom proxies, but I couldn't find it in the settings. Have you found where it is?

this launcher is great, the only thing missing for me is this proxy option. it would be nice to have a proxy option because proxychains is not compatible with it

It actually helps cuz many of us can't connect without a proxy and this app doesn't even use system proxy(as it seems)

In my opinion, it is ok to ask feature on free software but you should not demand the feature to be completed soon or in any time frame. It is up to the maker, they already give this software as free. Maybe if you really want that feature, consider to fork or make PR.

I must mention that i can download files from Epic servers on windows' epic launcher(using Hiddify) but idk what's the problem there**

Guys today i saw a link from derroid (Legendary app developer) that was about setting a proxy as environment variable in the py file so i looked for it in Heroic and found out that i can use proxy like this image and launch from terminal (idk which way solves the problem but before i try that i came here to write) it solved my problem for downloading and updating games hope you can use this too (i think it'd be so helpful for Iranian people)

The proxy is from my Hiddify app (you can use Nekoray, etc)

I'm using Hiddify in system proxy mode.

Sorry if that sounded arrogant; I didn't mean it that way. I'm not a native English speaker. On a positive note, the proxy is working in Heroic without any built-in proxy settings. I am using NekoRay on Debian KDE and have set up the proxy system-wide. Heroic shows an offline warning, but we can ignore it. Downloading and online servers in-game work; I tested it on Rocket League.
