+1 confirm this issue on an arch linux system. It happens to all the games, installation works but stops and cancels randomly.
Same issue. Faced it on Manjaro and on Garuda Linux, GTA V install cancels itself after reaching 4%.
Can you guys share how much RAM do you have and also the internet Speed? Also go to Settings and check about the max workers options, if it is on MAX.
GTA V has this bug but we don't know why this happens exactly. Have you tried with Legendary?

I tried with legendary, it took 30345.23s and when tried to launch it, it says check game install. And didnt run.

I have 8GB RAM an average internet speed of 25mbps and I tried this on Garuda DR460NIZED and Manjaro with GTA V and Watch Dogs 2

If you have it installed with legendary, it will show on heroic and you can find some guides in how to run gtav in heroic. I pinned a message on our discord with a tutorial.

Yeah, should not be an issue then. This damn bug is complicated. I have garuda as well and could not replicate. But I'll try again this weekend.
Describe the bug
When trying to install games, the installation randomly fails without any option to continue the install.
