Suggested FAA Regulations for REDUCING DRONE CONTROVERSY:
CONTROVERSY:
Members of the RC Air Community & the FAA have a "Controversial" view in the
Public & News Media.
The public is unfamiliar with this technology & many wonder about the dangers
of these RC Air Models.
1. Can these RC Air Models be used for spying? Or worse, As a Weapon?
2. The news media Criticizes us
3. The technology is not accesible to most of the Population & that seperates
us from the public. Most people simply don't stand a chance at operating this
level of RC Air Tech. Maybe they are skeptical of the fact that its not
accesible to them. Like a Laptop or a Car is accesible.
4. The word "Drone" in & of itself is misleading to the RC Air Community &
somewhat publicly derogatory.
These are the concerns of the public.
RESPONSE:
Our RC Air Community has to respond to the public:
1. We are in a calendar of resulting in FAA Standards for our RC Air
Technology.
2. For this we have to form politically active community, sign petitions,
write letters to the FAA, etc...
SUGGESTION:
MY ONE SINGLE SUGGESTION TO THE FAA & THE DRONE COMMUNTIY:
1. MAKE A FAA REGULATION THAT BANS ANY WEAPON ON BOARD ANY RC MODEL.
2. NO WEAPONS ALLOWED ON ANY RC MODEL.

FACTS:
1. Drones aren't strong or accurate enough for a weapon. I don't think you
could successfully pilot a weapon aboard but I suppose it's possible.
2. But we still need an FAA Law that Bans Weapons aboard an RC Model.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Additionally I suggest that ALL RC AIR & DRONE COMMUNITY ENTHUSIASTS HAVE THIS
RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Self-Police our RC Air Drone Technology & Report any user who has a Weapon
Aboard.
2. Lookout for any Psychos out there that want to put a weapon aboard.
3. I'm sure the local police office wouldn't have any problems Confiscating a
Drone with Weapon aboard.
This is OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO WATCH OUT FOR THIS.
REASON:
We dont want any bad PR from some Idiot who puts a weapon aboard. If some fool
put a weapon aboard it would RUIN IT FOR ALL OF US! SO BAN TOGETHER & REPORT
ANY IDIOT WITH A WEAPON ABOARD!
RESULTS:
I suggest if the FAA bans any weapon onboard any RC Model that:
1. The word "Drone" will not be so intimidating.
2. Drone controversy will reduce
3. We will look more like RC Modelers than "Controversial Tech Guys with Scary
Toys!"
4. RC Air Modelers Unite! Petition the FAA for a Ban on any Weapon on any RC
Model! Keep Violence out of the RC Hobby!
