This mod aims to expand on the "Old World" of Warhammer Fantasy, incorporating only the "Old World" region while removing the "New World". The mod is being built up as a split off from brother mod "Warhammer Geheimnisnacht". Of which the Hexenstag mod uses as foundation to continue its own development.
Set up new unlanded Titles for 8 Chaos Cults, 2 following each God, spread across the Old World.
Set up action loop for Chaos Cults, which corrupt courtiers and counties to build influence and resources towards Chaos uprisings
Players have a one year immunity to Cult actions. A new game rule has been added to give player longer protection from Cult actions (reducing risk of early game over) - or allow them to drop the one year grace period and join Cults by decision
Added player options to support a Cult that they have joined
Set up Witch Hunting laws to define overall anti-Cult strategy
Set up Witch Hunter recruitment with a range of hunters to choose from
Set up action loop for Witch Hunters to combat cults. Anti-cult actions range from scouring provinces that have been affected by potentially cultic action through capturing and interrogating cultists all the way up to attacking a cult's center. Witch Hunters who have vanquished evil in their employer's realm will ask to be released to fight elsewhere.
Added player options to guide their Witch Hunter operations
Reworked Cult of Shallya as a society of merciful rulers rather than magic-using priests. Their powers act to slow the advance of Chaos. Shallyan Powers are now: Path of Mercy (T1: passive benefit when encountering Chaos Cult events), Commit to Sanitorium (T1: "kill" a mutant courtier and pay gold to gain currency, reduce Doom), Celibacy (T2, maybe should be replaced), Invite Holy Ascetic (T3: should be tweaked), Merciful Rule (T3: active power to stabilize the realm, lower Doom), Give Up Your Worldly Life (T4: retire current character but gain a large piety/points bonus and greatly reduce Doom).
