I have enough power in the system, I put the Infinity booster card in, and everything just turns off The controller is on. just everything else is off.

Same issue for me, on stoneblock 3 based in MC 1.18.2 using RSInfinityBooster-1.18.2-2.1+20. I can have 1 of the 2 cards in but not both,

with both cards in image image

with just one of them image image image

Let me know what info you need and ill try to get it

it does this to me with dimensional booster (RSInfinityBooster-1.18.2-2.1+16)

Any news on this? It seems when there's enough energy being drawn from the system it struggles to keep up. The dimensional booster uses 8 kRF/t and the infinity range uses 4 kRF/t on All The Mods 8 (Minecraft version 1.19.2).

*Edit: We worked around this by setting a higher max RF capacity for the RS controller (default is 32 kRF) in the saves/worldname/serverconfig/refinedstorage-server.toml config file.

SiriosDev commented 1 year ago

is caused by the controller, because it does not increase the consumption according to the things you have connected, but it has a limit (changeable by config), as @fell-lucas says.

to solve this, you have to lower the addon consumption or raise the cap of the refined controller or use the creative controller in the packages that allow it

Pultex commented 1 year ago

I know old but for others looking the config for this is in the serverconfig in the world folder

not in the config folder of the base game or modpack folder

It seems to be the cable flow on my end (MC 1.20.1). I have enough energy production, but the Cyclic cables only move 1 kRF/t. Ender IO in alpha only has standard cables at this point, which move 5.12 kRF/t. You need a mod with FAST i.e., 8 kRF/t+ energy transfer cables to handle the interdimensional card. Or perhaps you could supply the controller with multiple, independant energy cable feeds (or lower the energy requirments for these cards as stated above). These range cards seem to eat more power than many cables can supply to the controller. I tweaked the Cyclic energy pipes to handle more flow and that fixed it.
