program has stopped working on win 7 64bit #283

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. trying to run the programe

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
error message saying program has stopped working as soon as you run the program

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
both the latest two versions tried on win 7 64b
