Too high particle density results in running errors #1141

Hi, I'd like to ask a question about particle density Settings. When I use fixed_weight and set the particle density to 7e25m^(-3), why do I always get an error (as shown in the picture) and how can I change the settings or input file to improve and avoid this problem? The input file is at the end of the article. But when the particle density to 7e22m^(-3), , it works fine. input.txt image

Yes, I used the control variates . When the particle density is 7e25, the file runs incorrectly, but when I only change the particle density to 7e22 , it works fine. In both files, only the drive beam density is different, and the plasma density remains the same. I don't think this error is not directly related to plasma density. ---- Replied Message ---- | From | Alexander @.> | | Date | 7/31/2024 08:18 | | To | @.> | | Cc | @.>, @.> | | Subject | Re: [Hi-PACE/hipace] Too high particle density results in running errors (Issue #1141) |

Is this fixed by using (z<0e-6)3.e25+(z>320e-6)1.e25+(z>=0e-6)(z<320e-6)(3-(2/320e-6)z)1.e25?
