This is an issue to track two third party bug fixes that @SeverinDiederichs encounters on Maxwell (DESY).

The problem here seems to be more that hdf5-parallel is not build with the same MPI (and compilers) as the rest of the module software stack.

This needs to be resolved via a ticket with the sys admins, requesting a hdf5-parallel module that is build with the same GCC and same OpenMPI as the other provided module: https://github.com/AMReX-Codes/amrex/issues/2674#issuecomment-1076779049
