🌟Documentation Update regarding Stripe #216

Open GamingForLive opened 1 month ago

GamingForLive commented 1 month ago

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The documentation is lacking a detail that i find is important to know

Describe the solution you'd like There should be a note in the Stripe section of the Documentation stating that Stripe Connect is required for the Payments to work

Describe alternatives you've considered

Additional context

Thanks for the feedback @GamingForLive!

Connect is only required if you're operating Hi.Events as a SAAS application, which isn't the case for the majority of use cases. But it should be mentioned in the docs, so I'll make that change soon.

Thanks, Dave

Hello Dave, okay then my instance seems to be stuck in SAAS mode as i have it disabled in the docker-compose.yml but still see the option to configure Stripe Details in the Account settings)

Seems like i got to investiage further.
