Spam Getting Through #244

Similar to other user complaints below, spam has been getting through onto the comment wall steadily for the past 72 hours or so. My site is https://therealbatmanchronologyproject.com/. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I'll need more information to determine what's going on. What version of the plugin are you running, what URL is spam coming through, have you configured the plugin settings, etc. The more info the better.

v5.0.8 was just released that includes beefed-up protection for comment forms. Please update to the latest (ensure settings have been configured) and let me know if you're still experiencing this. Closing for now.

Hi Ben,

Overnight, nineteen spam messages got through into my comment wall. I'm running Version 5.0.8, and I did the automatic configuration for the plugin settings.

Here is a partial list of where the comments originated from:

I've never had issues with your plugin before, configuration is typical to what I normally use. Any troubleshooting advice would be much appreciated.
