I really like your inventory trading scene. Not only does it work well for what I'm working on, but also with it I was also able to make a storage system where you choose who gets what item from a chest or loot pile.
However, in battle is when item selection is most crucial.
What I'm curious to seeing if you're interested in is a script where on the main party menu in battle (before giving actors their actions), you can exchange items between teammates, of which these teammates will appear for trading so long as they meet a formula condition (can't trade while dead/not in the area), and anyone who participates gains a {state?} (generally a state that makes them lose their turn).
