On any version, when obtaining a hint, it looks like it's not being removed from the list of "hintable locations".
This means when consuming other tokens, they can potentially give back the same hints several times while being consumed anyway.
I suspect that rebooting the program and reconnecting to the AP server "resyncs" that list and fixes the problem.
