Definitely gonna have to be a loadout change, nowhere to expand into unless we move detective completely

add a wire below the grille. issue sulved, unless they have insuls but at that point they can get anywhere already so its not too much of an issue
Playing det often, it is quite irritating when you late join, only like 5 minutes into the round, but your revolver and armor is already gone. Cough AMARI GAY Cough +1, although electrifying the grille could also be an effective fix.

This is incredibly lame, and if it doesnt get stolen, if somebody opens up more det slots it means that one det will have all the gear, while others wont.
This is a p simple tweak anyway iirc (chaplains will spawn automatically with a nullrod if there is more than one) and it could be done pretty easily (edit the mapfile, just add it to the dets spawn code)
Detective should just spawn with their armor and revolver tbh
What's one of the top things a powergamer MUST do at every round start? Simply smash open a window with a spear and throw said spear at detective's locker for a free ballistics gun and suit of armor. Does this have to be the current meta in making sure you don't happen to get shot to death by det's revolver?
No. It doesn't have to be.
I propose a simple solution; allow the revolver only to be on the detective when they spawn in or make a grungy but secure back room where the detective's personal belongings are kept.
