[Why]: # On most rounds, science cant do R&D or robotics due to one thing, the lack of materials, most of the time there are either no miners or autistic megafauna hunters. The most you would get out of a miner would be a couple materials from them traveling to the sweet ruin they need to get to for some shit that I still don't understand. So what I'm going on about, is a new way for science, independently, Get materials for the job. My first idea, is to re-implement the Pods, and allow scientists to travel space and mine asteroids which contain an abundance of materials, and then mine from such asteroids to get said materials. The second way is with steamp0rt's ritual feature request, such as some rituals which would summon x amount of y material (such as, say, drawing a rune and filling the room with plasma would cause the plasma in the room to solidify into an amount of plasma), probably only able to be done by the chaplain, this isn't exactly independent, but its easier than going out into lavaland, and mining. Another idea would be into implement plants into Botany which would produce an amount of materials, while this may be abusable, mining is not going to do the job so someone will. My final idea is to add more slimes to xenobiology, each representing a material, to allow xenobiology to get materials for the rest of science.
