4 years ago Goon Werewolf is a complete joke. Not sure if they've updated it, but it's really boring and kind of bad. Most people just go straight into wolf form and never leave as they want to use the supposed superpowers it has, and then immediately die as it's superpowers are more like regularpowers.

4 years ago This is actually a really cool idea. Tajaran werewolves might become a new gimmick. Also, cheers on the Silver Hand and ToS banes, balanced and funny. I'd love to see this. Fuck Goonie WWs.
Basically creating something similar to Goon Werewolf as a midround antagonist. A random crew member gets infected with a stealth disease called Sanies Lupinus.
The werewolf gets a few warnings and messages that the disease is progressing (so no excuses if they end up dead before the last stage), they acquire antag status with some objectives but cannot transform yet. The disease cannot be identified by a health HUD/scanner.
To unlock the beast form, they must reach a near crit stage while at the last stage of the disease, where the Werewolf will assume control. After that, they are able to switch forms freely. Not letting the beast come out is dangerous, you will start growling like a fucking stupid furry and attack people nearby autonomously easily revealing that you are a Lycan. Attempting to kill yourself is probably the best way to transform but the suicide verb isn't a good idea since it won't just crit you.
Once a werewolf is confirmed, the botanists can hack their seed vendor to unlock Wolfsbane, the only plant that can deal toxin damage to Werewolves, but it doesn't do anything to humans. Eating Wolfsbane at the first stage of the disease will cure it without further side effects.
Considering that silver is the best weapon to kill/incapacitate a Werewolf, why not implement a Silver Hand ERT? If the beast manages to murderbone and effectively kill most of the crew, the remaining survivors would have to call the Silver Hand and prepare for their last hope.
Hanging a Werewolf with a noose is also extremely effective although pretty hard unless that furry bastard gets hit by silver and switches back to human form.
