I have never seen the chamber thing, though I have seen the container. I think it's intentional, despite how ridiculous teleporting the HoS' backpack into your hands is when playing as a Wizard.
My only issue is lets say someone is chilling in the morgue, or cyro. You teleport the entire morgue or cyro they're in to wherever you are. You could potentially perma block hallways this way, ect.
would it break a revolver if you summon a bullet inserted in it's chamber?
well that actually kinda makes sense and seems balanced since you have to go through all this shiet when you can ey nath it would be broken if it teleports the host of the organ tho i dunno, so many shit this can break
I honestly fucking love this bug, and you can always chock it up to be "It's magic lol" so who cares. I fucking love being able to summon a ripley out of nowhere
Also, teleporting something that's embeded in someone leaves a ghost version of the item inside of them.
This is hilarious and should stay in
Keep it.
The voice of reason in me says to remove it. The voice of fun says to me to fix the awful cases and leave it as is. If the thing is anchored, just summon the item.
As shit as it is, it does stop pulling APCS and other important stationary things.
The only other way that is feasible is having a whitelist of containers? Even then, how maintainable is that?
Spells like this are underused so I'd say this serves as a form of 'balancing'.
Not only is it underused, but to be honest, anyone can break any of these things easily without needing to teleport them to them to break them. It's long and convoluted for something fun, but with little gain. Any odd things about it can be hand waved as "magic" not "a coding bug", and to be honest, it's fun as fuck and encourages smart and thought out play. Why the fuck would you code this out. Moving shit like APC's still has them working, and even if it DID break them, it's not like it's hard to break them normally; nobody's gonna spend the time taking the battery out and putting it back in just to tele it away when they can just fireball it. And if they ARE taking the time to do it, they have something WONDERFUL and unique that they're probably doing with it.
This game's all about interesting interactions with various mechanics and people causing for unique experiences. This is one of them that is mostly harmless but can be used for all sorts of fun shenanigans. Why would you remove it?
Example, if someone has the item in their backpack it teleports the entire backpack.
Or if the mob holding the item is inside of a cyro chamber, it will teleport the entire chamber with the mob.
