Currently no illegal rnd items above level 5 #3358

You need to actually get traitor stuff to get above 5 level of illegal in rnd, it used to get you adrenals but now since they were removed, there is nothing in return.

I suggest adding syndicate auto implanter (the one which nukies can buy), will make mass or solo implanting way easier. Shouldnt be that much of a problem since you will need to get high illegal tech item and minerals, when for example genetics powers can be aqquired faster and given out to people easier.

well only if those would be healing holoparas with slow movement speed but then again i dont think that it should have that item, eswords are pretty meh but when you can mass produce them, probably no.

Autoimplanters and Medibeam guns seem like a good compromise to me. Both of which are beneficial, pretty potent and aren't abusable in that a standard tator tot can just deconstruct a few E-Pens and print of near limitless supply of stuff from your uplink.

If nuke ops want to camp R&D till they can mass fab medibeam guns then fucking fine.

Mediguns would be cool, maybe eshields too? Although those should be pretty damn expensive.

Eshields would be too op even if they costed ~100k diamond volume.

Maybe russian armor sets and stuff of that theme? Give chesting more reason to exist than be an exosuit slot for weapon, make it like second backpack (you get shit for protection). Russian armor is similar to bulletproof one iirc, also the russian combat boots were noslips too, keep that in mind.

Add that heavy combat mk armor which has 90 something bullet protection (MK armor shouldnt require high illegal tech IF it has bad laser protection, so it only makes sense to get one in case of nukies and revolverboners (hey it is fast to get a durand anyway)
