7 years ago thumbnails shows ok if the video is in Youtube (with either just the ID as well as with full url) - but not if video is based somewhere else

so sorry ! to write this: I have been trying all sorts - but unfortunately whatever I do to configure videobox for Slider - links ok - but I am unable to show the thumbnail - what gets displayed instead is the 'captcha' or title of the video; I need to show (mp4) html5 videos. my example script: {videobox} https://video.compsys.it/lamiaofficina/tagliando_programmato.mp4|Prova1|, https://video.compsys.it/lamiaofficina/tagliando_programmato.mp4|Prova2|, https://video.compsys.it/lamiaofficina/tagliando_programmato.mp4|Prova3|, {/videobox} and this is what I get
in the Plugin configuration I have set thumbnail size - is there anywhere I need to set thumbnail to ON ? very very much appreciate any help on this - many many thanks in advance Rita
