Cannot create references to/from string offsets #41

install error. Joomla! 3.7.2
php 7.2 ubuntu 14.x pkg_videobox-6.0.0-rc6 joomla admn error "Cannot create references to/from string offsets"

It installs fine on my production server. CENTOS 6.7 x86_64 php 5.6.21

There was another thread about same subject: https://github.com/HitkoDev/Videobox-Joomla/issues/30 I found that the problem relates to PHP 7.1 and later. PHP 7.0 lets it install (though there was another error but it gets past that one and also claims to have installed).
