Calendar won't show any appointments #567

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Place widget on homescreen and add calendar extension
2. Set calendar to show appointments for next week
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Show all appointments for the next week. No appointments.

What version of the product are you using?
1.9.1

Which device and Android version are you experiencing this issue on?
Droid Maxx 4.2.2

Are you using a custom launcher or ROM? If so, which one? Note that custom
launchers and ROMs are not supported.
Doesn't work on stock Moto Launcher or Action Launcher Pro

I just realized that only google calendar events will sync. No locally saved 
calendar events show in dashclock. Why is that?
