Well since it looks like dashclock themselves won't solve this issue, I have
tried other apps and "widgetlocker lockscreen" helped me to set dashclock as
default lock screen on my htc one. Unfortunately it is paid app, maybe there
are other who can do it for free, but widgetlocker is working for me so far.

Dashclock. Pls do something.

Same issue here. I have tried everything I can to make DashClock the default
lock screen but it just won't do it. Not sure if its a DashClock issue or a
HTC issue.

I did what lenart did and got widget locker. I added dash clock as a widget to
that lockscreen and I actually love it. It has a lot of cool features. So
that's my advice.

Widget Locker is a problem if you have a PIN to unlock the phone. It'll take
you back to the original android lock screen. That for me isn't a smooth
transition and I'd prefer alternatives

T-Mobile HTC One (M7). I like Sense but HTC really misses the boat on
customization.
Great Phones, lousy marketing locks.
OTOH: They simplify system security for development engineering.
