By default/factory settings, the camera gets opened if you wiggle your phone in a certain (set of) way(s).
In practice, the camera gets opened everytime you pull it out of your pocket or lay it on a table in a nonchalant manner. This can be considered undesired and might drain unnecessary battery.
Downside is that it takes more time to open the camera when you want to quickly capture something.
To disable opening the camera on movement, go to settings and disable it at "guestures."
