When the dashcam is powered off during session A while it still has a processing backlog, and is powered on again during session B, session B takes a long time to establish a GPS lock due to the ML processing on session A images.

Proposal is to wait for X amount of time or GPS lock before allowing ML processing to continue.

Deliverable:

HDC firmware that verifies GPS lock before committing CPU to ML process.

Current Approach:

ML will be delayed by 1 minute before starting. GPS lock should be established by then.
