Does not load with prepatch due to below error (possibly more but wont get past that point)

Looks like that API changed to return a table object with all the data instead of as 6 separate objects?

Yep, this change to lines 137 and 138 of FarmHud.lua fixes the error and makes the addon function again. (Note use whatever naming convention you tend to use, I just used obj for the returned table)
