Absolute Bearing in List no longer works #147

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In settings, choose Absolute Bearing in List
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In 1.0.5, arrows changed to e.g. 'NS'.
In 1.0.14, arrows stay regardless of toggle.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.14 in Android 1.5.
