Extreme battery drain on EVO

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the program (Not sure if it matters, but I've noticed it after the 
program is in the background)
2. Check your battery usage later

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Geobeagle uses 92% of battery, with all other tasks far far lower.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Unknown version.  Likely 1.1.20 as it was downloaded from the Market on June 
25th.  Stock Android on the EVO... unknown what version.

Please provide any additional information below.
Other things I've done... open caches and then open web links.

I'm seeing something similar.  On my HTC Hero (now running Android 2.1), 
GeoBeagle 1.1.8 used very little battery and ran fast and smooth.  1.1.20 takes 
10+ seconds to start (even with 0 caches in the database), uses battery very 
quickly, and is unusably sluggish (unless every other app is closed).
