Launching camera while navigating a cache brings camera up in camera service mode (expects geobeagle to accept pic)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. find a cache online.
2. select google maps to return to geobeagle and enter navigation mode.
3. press the camera button to switch to camera.
4. press the camera button again to take a pic.
5. notice the picture is not saved anywhere, it seems to return it to geobeagle 
which does nothing with it.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected behavior is to switch to the normal camera app that saves pics to the 
sdcard.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
moto droid
android 2.1-update1
geobeagle version 150

The picture should be in the GeoBeagle directory on your sd card.
