Proximity alarm #182

Unless I've missed it (and I'm pretty sure I haven't) it would be
useful to have some sort of proximity alarm that would sound/vibrate
when you come within a configurable distance of a chosen cache (or
even any cache I suppose).

This would be particularly useful for me on certain mountain caches
that I have in mind where I don't want to be continually looking at my
gps and instead want to concentrate on not falling off!

It would be nice to be able to set the distance, sound, and the number
of times I'd be notified (if the signal is jumping around I don't want
an alarm every time it comes in and out of range).

It might be useful to have the alarm sound when close to any cache so
that it alerts you to a close by one that you didn't know was there
(you'd obviously have to leave the app running all the time though, so
perhaps not that useful).

Has this been considered?

Now that GeoBeagle has searching, Proximity Alarm is the feature I most hope
for. Thanks for the great app (best one by far for puzzle caching)!

This sounds like a great feature. I'd love to see it.
