GSAK GPX file sync no longer works #196

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Sync GPX file using current versions of Geobeagle
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Be able to see cache descriptions.  No cache description shows up with sync of 
GPX file.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.2.10
Android 2.2

Please provide any additional information below.
GPX file sync used to work but with the last handful of updates, the cache 
description no longer is being displayed.

I see a perhaps related issue in 1.2.10.  (Not sure in which version it 
started.)  Descriptions load just fine, but when I overwrite my .gpx file with 
a new, identically-named file with additional caches, syncing doesn't load the 
new caches (or otherwise record any changes).  I have to clear all old caches 
and then sync.

(HTC Hero running Android 2.1)
