Have this going on too. CPU is an AMD Ryzen 2700X and GPU is a nVidia GTX 1080.
Release: holoiso_beta_snapshot20240302.1307.27-INSTALLER-57-x86_64.iso
nvidia and intel are officially unsupported
correct me if i am wrong but
But again I could be wrong correct me
I am using that version as well, but I do not believe it is supported as it's a beta and several versions old. It does work for me now that I installed it, at least for the computer, but I'm getting that irritating green screen issue when I connect to it. That's not an issue with holoiso however, it's a known problem with Steam and NV cards.
It appears to be that people are getting the experimental working! But I am on the road right now so until I get home I won't be able to test this theory. So until then consider this issue closed. (Issue is now reopened)
I have a theory that it might be the drive that I'm trying to install to due to the fact that when installing a regular form of Linux such as Manjaro KDE plasma, It too also experienced many visual bugs. While I am not in the position to dual boot it onto my main drive I may be able to replace the SSD That I was trying to install it to because the drive is pretty slow and horrible. but until then i am just going to have to wait for the next dev_nv release.
