Preview Box only shows BLACK screen #702

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

The preview box shows a black screen.

Please note this is not the same as showing a black screen with the VM name on
it. The last VirtualBox extension pack is properly installed and running.

Actually the black screen resizes if the host resolution is changed, so there
is some kind of communication...

Please see the Common Errors and Issues wiki page located at
http://code.google.com/p/phpvirtualbox/wiki/CommonErrors before posting
here.

Everything else is working fine.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open PHPVirtualbox
2. Select one VM
3. First it shows a black screen with the VM name in white. After a second the
black screen resizes as the host resolution but it stays black :(

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

It should show the actual host screen (as it used to do).

What version of phpVirtualBox, VirtualBox, and PHP are you using? On what
operating system?

PHPVirtualBox: phpVirtualBox 4.2-4 -/- VirtualBox 4.2.x compatible
PHP version: PHP Version 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.6
OS version: Linux 3.5.0-36-generic #57~precise1-Ubuntu
VirtualBox: 4.2.16 (86992)
Base memory: 32069 MB 12158 MB (37%)19911 MB
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz (8) HWVirtEx, PAE, Long
Mode (64-bit)

Please provide any additional information below.

If you right click on the preview and choose Open in new window, what does the
image look like?

If I right click on the preview and select Open in new window I can see the
remote screen! (never tried before...)

So what can be happening?

Sorry, It looks like there must be something wrong with my Google Chrome
instalation. Strange because it used to work a week ago.

I tried using Firefox and it's working fine. I even tried using Chrome from
another machine and it's working fine again....

Thank you for listening anyway!
