Cannot Resume game when XPad is set

2) What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run a game with xpad set as the first controller plugin.
2. Press Esc.
3. Click Run -> Execute

3) What exactly happens when you experience this issue (listing any console
errors or screen output you recieve)?
The game window appears for half a second and then disappears.

4) What version of PCSX2 are you using? On what operating system?
Latest revision at the time of writing on Vista 64.

When was this fixed?  I'll try again later tonight but it was still an issue 
for me
when I filed this report and I haven't seen an update to XPad since then.  
Maybe I
missed it?  :/
