add "regions" for localisation #77

hi,

can we have "regions" like Europe or EU, so its easier to pick a typical area to block/allow.

hi, possible is a lot ;-)

I am not sure, if this is a pressing use case. I guess most of the people pick the countries once and then leave it like this for years? So saving a few seconds here is not a big thing. Or do I miss common use cases? On the other hand this is of cause the best app ever and million of people will want to use it. ;-) So saving a little time for everybody would be a lot overall.

I would leave it in the list as a potential enhancement, but wouldn't start with priority on this.

What regions would you suggest?

this discussion is all over the place, e.g. at opnsense.

e.g. sophos does it like this. there you can check either a continent or a specific country on this continent or a mix like allow europe as continent but bock .pl of vise versa. in the opnsense issue are nice solutions and maybe ready to go code to "borrow".

and btw. just to throw some examples in....in an typical market e.g. africa region you have to pick about 60 (!) countries from the list which will takes not just seconds rather then ...dont know.....30 mins or so of anoying work. or in EU about 30 countries. Europe about 50.
