ChronoSync installation reported as failure but available in /Applications

General troubleshooting steps

[x] I ran brew doctor, fixed as many issues as possible and retried my command.
[x] I have checked the instructions for reporting bugs.
[x] I made doubly sure this is not a checksum does not match error.

Description of issue

The installation of ChronoSync is failing in Catalina (10.15.7). It looks like this is an installer/package specific issue. However, I'm unable to spot any error messages.

Note, ChronoSync happens to be installed in /Applications even with the error message. It appears to be working fine. Homebrew does not recognize the installation and reports it as not installed.

For reference, I can’t reproduce this on a clean Mojave VM, so we’ll have to wait for further reports or another maintainer to try it.

It might be a Catalina specific issue. Not sure. From the debug output it seems to be failing at some verification step. Thanks for your effort, though.

We’d want to fix that. I’m the one on an old version, so this is a valid bug report (unless no one else is able to reproduce it on Catalina, which would indicate an oddity in your setup, not an issue in Homebrew Cask).

I cannot reproduce this on Catalina or Big Sur:

Perhaps try with the --no-quarantine flag?

Thanks for all your help. --no-quarantine didn't help. I opened a support ticket with the vendor. The installation is also failing with a manual install of the vendor package. Homebrew isn't to blame.
