Some images are at an insanely high resolution #2

I wondered why the homepage images took a while to load, so I had a look... the hero image is 6528x4896. The team image is 3264x1472. Each team member's portrait is 1472x2618, especially funny since they are rendered at 350x623 approx. on a 1080p monitor. Some of the sponsor logos are 2000 or 3000 pixels wide. Other images, such as the logos for the sub-brands, are only at slightly more reasonable resolutions (over 1500px wide when they're being displayed at 341px wide on a 1080p monitor).

I'd guess you won't need to project your website onto a massive display with an incredibly high resolution where this would matter. You'd be best to resize the images to more suitable sizes - for example I'd take the widths they'd be displayed at in 1080p, but you could double those for the widths they'd be displayed at in 4k. I'd personally convert them to WEBP cause smaller file sizes for PNG quality go brr, but again that's up to you. Just something to think about.
