A new folder for examples? #5

I think it may be nicer to have a notebooks folder and store examples notebooks there. There can be multiple notebooks (I think shorter notebooks each focusing one example is nicer).

I've made a new folder for examples and wrote up a few short notebooks. If you think of any additional examples that would be helpful, please let me know!
