that's a normal
It is a function of awd launcher

you can get it back when you swipe up and down on the place where the menu bar
normally is.

That happen to me to.

I think this happen because we left the finger to long in the menu bar, and the
garbage can aper, and we send the menu bar to garbage.

Plus it's not an Open Etna bug :p
More a strange behavior of ADW launcher :)

(But i must admit i was quite surprised by that thing too, just asked for it on
the forum and people told me exactly what's said here...)

Got to close it !

Actually, this is not a bug at all, but a very good feature (IMO). When hiding
the menu bar (swipe up) you get access to a drawer where you can put what links
you like, like a fast access menu available in all home screens. It's just empty
at first, but you can drag stuff there. To get the menu bar again, just swipe
down in that area.

This, plus up/down gestures in the home (i use swipe up to go to all apps) make
ADW a really customizable and efficient interface (again, this is In My
Opinion, if you don't like it, don't use it).

Wow, it works pretty nice as you said, dhartescu.

Swiping down from the bottom of the screen works better that you think before
doing it.

That hidden menu may be really useful, in fact.
