Using a system info app I've noticed that CPU always run at max frequency (even
using setcpu ondemand mode). Could this be the cause of your problem. I'have to
say that three hours seems really too bad...

P.S.: when using conservative mode Cpu always run at lower freq, so i have to
set parameters manually.

@wzoobkoff: The app is "Setcpu for root user". You can find it on the market or
XDA developers website.

I recommend to check using the app osmonitor, it places a cpu usage icon on the
notification area, normaly it will be empty, but sometimes apps don't sleep and
keep running, i noticed it some times whit the browser for example.

If this is the case, u can kill it, maybe that the reason of your battery drain.

U can also set the cpu speed with osmonitor.

Activate the root mode on osmonitor, goto to Misc tab and click over round
icons right to the speeds.

u also can use apps like batteryfu to help battery life.

i use the adw launcher inbuilt widget: alimentation control (bad english,
sorry),
and during night i disconnect data flow and sync. (phone calls and sms get
through)
use display contrast at lowest setting, its enough for me.

Of course wifi, bluetooth and gps are shut down when i dont use them...

an other way to control this is Parameters > CyanogenMod > user interface >
button widget (in energie and notification managing, bad english translation
again)

(be carefull with "Wi-fi sharing", the good one is called "Wi-fi", and u better
not mess with the 1rst one, it might make ur phone reboot and is useless.)

in normal usage, my phone lasts 2 days before recharging
and one day if i go a lot on internet (updating aps)
or half day if i use google maps(gps) (traveling).
