Probably they are right.

We will need to wait the new Kernel to see if the problem is still there and
then try to fix...

Thank you very much Trystan2k for your response, I know you make all the best
for our phone :-). Impatient to see new kernel working...;-)

well, the new kernel already works quite well... can you make some examples of
such non-working apps?

Hi Giorgio. For example Sygic Aura (new navigation software) doesn't start and
tell there is no 3d hardware acceleration on the phone. I made some Internet
research and some other guys with same problem says it can be a video driver
issue because on same hardware (in that case was HTC) that software works or
not depending by different modded ROM version with different video driver. And
after reading this hypothesis I associate it to some live wallpaper (I think
involving 3d hardware acceleration) that doesn't work correctly on our phone
leaving black screen (now I can't tell you what live wallpapers, I uninstalled
them, but can try to find and check them again).

Anyway don't waste time on this issue, keep up the great work you are doing and
maybe with new kernel things will be different.

Thanks again to everybody involved in Openetna, you are great.

I think a bunch of it has to do with the level of opengl is supports.

http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/graphics/opengl.html

The new ones run opengl 2.0 don't they?

Changing title since some apps that require 3d do work.
