system v6.2-rc1/boot v3.0: Google apps do not get installed #364

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
I have done a fastboot -w before installing, and i have copied
gapps-mdpi-20101020-signed.zip on the sd card before flashing, since the sd
card is not accessible through the pc (another bug).

The google apps are not installed when rebooting.

As a possible workaround, try to rename the file to
gapps-mdpi-tiny-20101020-signed.zip on your SDCard and reboot your phone.

I had to do mine manually from the terminal
open up the terminal app and type the following
su
cd /etc/init.d
./15checkgapps

when i did this it's also looking for gapps-mdpi-tiny-20101020-signed.zip
you can do a google search and download it if you dont have it
