How did you test this?
Our phone only has one speaker.
Did you use earphones?
Which application did you use?

I have tested this and sound output from earphones is stereo.

After trying this I tried FM radio, after that I stopped having sound coming 
from earphones.

Closing this issue as sound is output as stereo.
