I have downloaded and copied on sd card gapps-mdpi-tiny-20101020-signed.zip
I have done a fastboot -w and flashed
the Gapps do not install on reboot

I have then ran on a terminal in the phone

su
cd /etc/init.d
./15checkgapps

I get an error message:

unzip: short read

The file is extracted very well on my pc.

Maybe you should try with rc2.

This worked fine for me.
Did you extract the file from the sdcard?
You could have a defective sdcard.

Please redownload the gapps file from
http://android.d3xt3r01.tk/cyanogen/gapps/gapps-mdpi-tiny-20101020-signed.zip
and retry.

the audiouni account is mine. I dont have the short-read issue, just the rest.

Poly, are suposed to have the gapps on the sdcard even if these latest versions
already have the OpenEtna.apk?

Is there a problem on booting 1st time with "gapps-tiny" and the
"previous_gapps-version", on sdcard at the same time? Cause thats what I did.

Sorry for offtopic.

The OpenEtna apps should helps installing the gapps, you still need them to be
on the sdcard. The OpenEtna app will use the right file (so there can be
multiple or old versions of gapps on the sdcard).
If you start the OpenEtna app, does it say "Already installed"? If not, can you
provide a logcat of clicking on "Install Google Apps" in the OpenEtna app?
