Convergence, fits, Rhats look good, but there is a strong effect of the adjacency matrix on the rate maps that seems unusual.

Opinion: Investigate adjacency matrix

I think that the difficult thing here for the model is that the population in the North-east is very low (figure 15), so the rates can vary widely without much effect on the estimated number of cases.

One solution could be to set a lower threshold on the population density to consider it as 0?
