Rough plan:

• use previous code/model to estimate IFR based on age for each R/E included in the model
• check against literature estimates
• check into using serosurveys
• adjust to match if needed
• dont need to adjust perfectly --> will likely want to fit this somewhat

OPTION 1

1. Find unbiased estimate of prevalence (i.e., serosurvey)
2. Get reported cases & reported deaths by R/E
3. Calculate IFR, CFR for specific population (may need age-adjustment here)
4. Do age-adjustment to CA and NC (i.e., standardize to the populations of estimate source vs CA and NC)

OPTION 2

1. Identify multiple literature estimates and do meta-analysis to get 1
2. Do age-adjustment to account for study population
3. Do age-adjustment to CA and NC (i.e., standardize to the populations of estimate source vs CA and NC)
