Test Horizen’s TokenMint Platform and Cobalt Web Wallet on Testnet #51

Goals:

Test Horizen’s new TokenMint Platform and Cobalt web wallet on Testnet and document steps/findings.

Scope of work:

Document every step and findings, particularly transactions, by providing TX IDs and links from Horizen Testnet and TokenMint block explorers.

Also, provide at least one piece of feedback for each component: Sphere by Horizen Testnet, Cobalt and TokenMint block explorer. This might be UI/UX issues, missing features, etc.

Schedule Milestones:

This task should be completed within 1 week of accepting the task. If a user does not complete this task within the allotted time, it will be considered open for another user to complete. For the task to be considered complete, it will need to be reviewed and approved by the Horizen team. The team may request edits be made to the document/findings before approval.

Budget: $30 per completed submission, $300 in total, up to 10 submissions (Paid in ZEN)

Transfer 1 TZNY from Cobalt wallet to this address: crash the software cant access my wallet e259c170f497cb266021d91b7eca983bf5bb32e8125c1fe2a76ed277021592d2 feel like the app crash no sign of the TZNY was send . It say success but did not show tokens gone click back and. It just say send Pending. app crash cant access the wallet address. How do i fix the problem reinstall?

horizen test1.odt bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbcea567956 only had 4400 at the start now it show i got 8799 TZNY but the app not letting me in that option was a print screen when app push me back to wallect address.

Some Feedback: First~Fifth step : It was transmitted relatively quickly. Last step : In Cobalt, it says transmission complete. However, the results are not yet available in Test Spear. It looks like it's gonna take a while. In addition, I felt that the transmission speed was somewhat slow as the number of people increased while doing this work with the community people. In Cobalt, after sending the coin, the send button remained inactive, but it was unclear whether it was completed or not. It would be nice if there was an additional window that said it was completed.

Did I complete all the tasks? Of course you can figure it out. Sometimes the Cphere application needs to be restarted for the tokens to arrive. And so very quickly and clearly. I liked the axis

Documentation of my Test and finding on the Test Horizen’s new TokenMint Platform and Cobalt web wallet on Testnet.

  1. I follow the step on TokenMint Launch Phase1 (https://blog.horizen.io/tokenmint-alpha-1-testnet-launch/) and created my Cobalt wallet and generated my wallet address (4f02920aade0377a357c7afca57a5554698288d577b4542836fe16639177ba7f). And then i submitted my received $TZNY transaction TXID on the discord channel (https://discord.com/channels/334085157441110017/971236179364167730/972204921212518432). Though i waiting to get my Pilot Badge as announced by the project.

  2. I downloaded the Sphere By Horizen test Wallet thorugh this link (https://blog.horizen.io/tutorial-sending-tzen-to-cobalt/). And then created a new wallet and generated a wallet address (ztZYgRHbqA2QXcsbg6kbLUBZ8cSkhMQas9x). And then go to Heap site(https://heap.horizen.io/) to claim a free testnet ZEN.

  3. My discord username: toyotheophilus#9476

  4. I made a forward transferred from my Horizen test wallet to my cobalt wallet through sidechain process. see TXID(https://explorer-testnet.horizen.io/tx/84d4d5ccee12f237d4e0ada0ce15e22b901556da7e4358ef35ca07ee8c9a5ae4).

Final and additional submission:

  1. I noticed that my second attempt to send tZEN from Sphere by Horizen test wallet was aborted with a notice that i have a pending and unconfirmed transaction. But after some minutes and when i tried again, it went successfully with no error.
  2. On the Cobalt wallet UI the SEND page is displaying a NOTE that ZEN can only be sent to Horizen mainchain addresses from Cobalt (though wallet is on TokenMint testnet, see screenshot attached). tzen

Feedback about the TokenMint explorer

I think that the use of the word "Proposition" when describing an address can be confusing on the transaction details page. I was trying to get my head around the new explorer layout and didn't know that proposition meant address, and it was only after I clicked on the address next to the word proposition that I realised it was Address.

Can someone provide guidance as why the word "Proposition" was used?

Feedback about the Testnet Sphere

There seems to be a missing element in the Sphere wallet when clicking on the refresh button. On the mainnet Sphere wallet when you click on the refresh button there is a progress bar that shows the progress of the refresh, but on the testnet version it is is just a blank space that shifts the layout while it does the refresh status.

Feedback about the Cobalt wallet extension

I think that the addition of direct linking to the transaction or address on the block explorer would be advantageous.

I have done testing, from sending ZEN from Sphere to Cobalt Wallet I sent from my Sphere Address (ztUb57njxhUUWZ2D8gXGjJzT2befkVb9y4y) to my Cobalt Wallet (0aeff60721c8971dc4f873315b78bcb92d1810c8c0a47c48f10907f290cfb553) smoothly.
