As per issue #143 specification adds the mempool count metric to splash screen.

           Block height | 321051
            Connections | 8 (TLS: 8)
  Network solution rate | 47399489 Sol/s
       Mempool TX count | 28 TX

I don't think test cases are required for a change this small, but I'm not sure. @daira, would you require them if this were submitted to ZCash?
