I'm using enough fresh version compatible with other OTR implements:
http://code.google.com/p/mirotr/downloads/detail?name=MirOTR_0.10.3.1.zip&can=1&
q=
Also it's already supports pidgin html convert :-)

Hallo!

11.0.0.1 x86 to 11.0.0.1 x86
11.0.0.1 x64 to 11.0.0.1 x86
11.0.0.1 x64 to 11.0.0.1 x86

on two fresh installs of miranda on computers in the same room, and always
nothing but 'Invalid Length', can't get it to communicate at all. plugin seems
broken, it's not an issue talking to other plugins/other clients.

old OTR plugin from miranda website works fine on that test settup

This happened with pidgin on maemo too (exactly the same error message :)) and
IIRC it was because of a newer(?) libgcrypt version. I can try it again tonight
and report back.

I second yakumo & overture's request. I recently upgraded to Windows 7 x64 and
I find I can't chat with anyone using OTR with this plugin. Not other miranda
users for any version of miranda or MirOTR, nor can I chat with pidgin users. I
get:

[OTR INFO] Error setting up private conversation: Invalid length

Has the x64 version ever worked? Was there ever an x64 version before 11.0.x ?

If libcrypt is the issue, anyone with a working x64 Visual Studio build
environment wanna build us a copy that works? Pretty please?

I'm reading http://code.google.com/p/mirotr/source/browse/trunk/building.txt ,
Can I use the free version of Visual Studio to build this? the last time I
built anything from code was probably linux 0.99 era , but I'm getting
desperate enough to give it a try...

Perhaps some of us would be willing to donate a small amount to see this fixed!

Best,
