What shall be added?
Unencrypted messages from a contact while the session is still active on my
side should be handled as normal messages and be added to the log.
I have this problem with a contact who uses Pidgin with OTR. The problem is
that Pidgin automatically terminates the session (seemingly) at random and
later starts to send unencrypted messages while on my side the session is still
open. The MirOTR plugin recognizes this and shows these messages as popups
(“The following message was sent unencrypted from username: ...”), but
they’re not added to the message log if you have set the option that you
don’t want to see OTR system messages in the log. Please make it so that they
are handled just like normal messages.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MirOTR 0.11.0.2, Windows Vista 32bit
Please provide any additional information below.
On a side note: This would probably not be as big an issue if MirOTR had an
option to automatically end the session after the other side has terminated it,
as proposed here: http://code.google.com/p/mirotr/issues/detail?id=5#c2
